With a belief in the natural plane putting technique we detail on our methods page, we realized we had to develop a method that would allow millions of golfers to discover and learn this new technique quickly. We searched and searched and found several existing putting trainers/aids on the market.
We began to look at how one could use these to learn the "Natural Plane Putting Method", but soon realized that because of the "one setting" fixed track; these products were really developed to market to the beginner golfer, without much consideration of really developing a Tour Quality Putting Stroke.
We soon realized we were going to have to develop an "outside the box" putting feedback device in order to allow for as many golfers as possible learn this new technique quickly.
In 2004 our goal was to develop a product that was effective, but could be purchased for less than the cost of just one professional golf lesson, or a couple of dozen golf balls.
In the spring 2006 we introduced the iPutt Putting Trainers to the golf world and the response has been incredible.
The iPutt system was developed to provide the positive feedback needed to practice and develop a Tour Quality Putting Stroke in a short period of time, resulting in positive results and lower scores on the golf course. Imagine what no more three putts and missed
3 footers will do to your score!
The Putting Pilot is the only putting trainer that gives you feedback on the complete professional putting stroke: path, putter plane, correct aim and putter alignment.
Practice - The Putting Pilot is the ideal way to improve your putting because you are always learning the “Natural Feel” stroke the pros use. As the pros have found, improved technique, consistency and confidence from using The Putting Pilot leads to better results out on the golf course. The Putting Pilot is available in a length of 24 or 30 inches.
Putter Path -
Sliding the heel of the putter along the guide means that your putter follows your Natural Plane - the ideal path. The putter will travel along the target line at impact, and will swing naturally inside on the back swing and on the follow through.
Putter Arc - Sliding the putter along the curved top surface on the guide means that it follows a perfect swing arc. This is the simplest stroke because it is based on a pendulum swing simply pivoted from the spinal axis (without bending or straightening the arms).
Aim -
Address the golf ball with the putter face aligned to the guide lines and your putter will be aimed correctly every time.
Putter Alignment -
The guide lines on the Putting Pilot show the correct positions for the putter face throughout the entire putting stroke.
Sweet Spot -
The Putting Pilot ensures that the impact point on the putter is the same as the address position giving a pure roll - crucial for good distance control.
Rhythm -
The natural stroke inside-to-inside path will help the rhythm of your stroke. Consistency -
With the Putting Pilot you practice the same, world class putting stroke all the time.
